As part of my co-teaching experiences, I was involved with the following courses at Oregon State University and Indiana University.
OSU OC 436-536 – Acoustical Oceanography (Winter 2021): This course explored the principles of using sound as a sampling tool and the applications of acoustics in a variety of marine disciplines. Students were taught to examine the physics of underwater sound and sound propagation in the ocean.
IUB CSCI B355 – Autonomous Robotics (Spring 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020): This course was based on the introduction to the design, construction, and control of autonomous mobile robots. This course covered topics involving basic mechanics, electronics, and programming for robotics, as well as the applications of robots in cognitive science.
IUB COGS C105 – Brains, Minds, Robots and Computers (Spring 2016; Fall 2016, 2017, 2019): This course explored the main thrusts in cognitive science and robotics. Hands-on experience in the laboratory section allowed students to get acquainted with both computer simulations of artificial agents and actual robots.
